Download "FoalApp Receiver" on your Android to receive alerts.

Download "FoalApp Mare" on the second Android phone that attaches to your mare.

How it works: One Android phone monitors your mare's movements and automatically sends alerts with live video to your Android when she lies down. You can check on her anytime through the app on your phone.

Common Questions from Android Users

Can I use my Android for both monitoring and receiving?

No. The system requires two separate phones. You'll need a second Android phone (Android 9 or newer) dedicated to attaching to your mare's halter for monitoring.

What if I only have one Android phone?

You'll need to get a second Android phone for the mare monitoring. It can be an older or spare Android device as long as it runs Android 9 or newer and has WiFi or mobile data connectivity.

Can multiple people with Android phones receive alerts?

Yes! Multiple people can download the FoalApp receiver on their Android phones and all receive alerts from the same mare.

Can someone with an iPhone also receive alerts?

Yes! The receiver app is available for both Android and iOS. So you can have Android users and iPhone users all receiving alerts from the same mare phone.

Do I need two phone numbers/SIM cards?

The Android mare phone needs either WiFi or mobile data to send alerts. If using mobile data, it will need a SIM card. Your receiver Android uses your existing phone service.
